"Hate to Say" is the first single from upcoming acoustic E.P. "Our Trauma is not a Competition" and showcases how the band have been influenced by the MTV Unplugged shows of the 90s. There are shades of Alice in Chains and Pearl Jam, whilst still retaining the core of what makes it an Of Concrete Gods song.

This is the first in a series of five acoustic songs to be released monthly over summer 2022, culminating in the full E.P. release in September.
